Role Summary
Senior Specialty Representative for Dermatology in Wilmington, NC, responsible for delivering clinical knowledge of Amgen products to medical professionals and guiding payor navigation. Acts as the primary customer contact to implement marketing strategy and promote Amgen products under district leadership. Territory includes Wilmington, Jacksonville, Morehead City, New Bern, and Greenville, NC.
Responsibilities
- Provide current and comprehensive knowledge of Amgen's products and communicate clinical benefits to medical professionals to drive appropriate utilization
- Lead territory sales by delivering branded messages, conducting planned programs, coordinating medical education activities, and achieving or exceeding sales targets through in-person and virtual engagement
- Develop relationships to service and manage accounts, customizing discussions based on customer needs, ensuring product access, resolving reimbursement issues, and maintaining product contracts
- Provide feedback on marketing strategy, analyze sales activities and territory performance, and develop territory plans with the District Manager
- Partner with colleagues to share best practices and grow as a Senior Specialty Representative
- Demonstrate passion for our products and sustain it throughout the sales cycle while reinforcing the brand and serving patients

Qualifications
- Required: Bachelor's degree and 3 years of sales experience and/or clinical experience in healthcare / scientific field that is not sales related
- Required: Associate degree and 6 years of sales experience and/or clinical experience in healthcare / scientific field that is not sales related
- Required: High school diploma / GED and 8 years of sales experience and/or clinical experience in healthcare / scientific field that is not sales related
- Preferred: More than 3 yearsβ sales, marketing and/or clinical experience within pharmaceutical, biotech, diagnostics, healthcare insurance, pharmacy services, healthcare medical device or medical supply industries
- Preferred: Product or hospital sales experience in oncology, cardiology, inflammation, nephrology, dermatology, rheumatology, neurology, endocrinology, hepatology, gastroenterology, bone health, respiratory, hematology, or infectious diseases; and the diseases and treatments involved with these specialties
- Preferred: Advanced influencing and relationship-building skills with a focus on sales outcomes
- Preferred: Local market knowledge
- Preferred: Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences or Business Administration
