Senior Specialist, Supplier Quality

Role: Senior Specialist, Supplier Quality within Johnson & Johnson's Innovative Medicine External Quality team, focusing on supplier lifecycle management for biotherapeutics, synthetics, and advanced therapies. Objectives include overseeing supplier qualification, risk management, performance monitoring, issue resolution, and compliance auditing to support NPI growth, business continuity, and regulatory adherence. Responsibilities encompass developing strategic priorities, managing supplier relationships, supporting inspections, leading quality initiatives, and collaborating with cross-functional partners such as Procurement and Site QA. Qualifications include a Bachelor's Degree (preferably in Science, Engineering, or Technical fields), minimum of 5 years' experience in product/supplier lifecycle management across supply chain platforms, and knowledge of GMP, ICH regulations, and regulatory inspections. Technical skills required involve understanding of biotherapeutics, raw material management, manufacturing processes, and quality systems. Preferred skills include cross-functional collaboration, project management, change management, and data analysis. High-value specifics: experience with biologics, synthetic, or advanced therapy platforms; involvement with GMP and regulatory agencies; and international supply chain management. The role is based in multiple US locations with remote options considered; travel is estimated at 10-15%.
