Senior Specialist, Supplier Quality

Role: Senior Specialist, Supplier Quality within Johnson & Johnson's Innovative Medicine External Quality team, focusing on supplier lifecycle management for biotherapeutics, synthetics, and advanced therapies. Objectives include overseeing supplier qualification, risk management, performance monitoring, issue resolution, and compliance auditing to ensure quality and regulatory adherence across global sites. Responsibilities involve developing strategic priorities, collaborating with site QA teams and cross-functional partners like Procurement and MSAT, managing supplier relationships, supporting inspections, and leading quality projects impacting multiple sites. The role emphasizes managing suppliers involved with complex or hybrid supply chains, including critical technologies and software solutions. Qualifications require a Bachelor’s degree with at least 5 years’ experience in product/supplier lifecycle management within GMP-regulated environments, especially in biotherapeutics, synthetics, or advanced therapies. Strong knowledge of EQ/SQ QMS, GMP regulations, and international inspection experience are essential. Skills include effective communication, analytical problem-solving, remote work capability, and influence in high-matrix settings. The position may be remote with up to 10-15% travel. The role reports to the Supplier Quality leadership, contributing to quality, compliance, and supply continuity on a global scale.
