Senior Specialist, Data Analysis

Role: Senior Specialist in Modeling & Informatics within the Cheminformatics group, focusing on developing AI/ML and cheminformatics methods to advance early target discovery in drug development. Responsibilities include applying computational workflows to analyze chemical biology data, optimizing informatics algorithms for small molecules, peptides, and degraders, and collaborating across experimental and computational teams. The role emphasizes translating data insights into pipeline efficiencies and scientific communication. Requirements: Ph.D. in cheminformatics, bioinformatics, computational biology, chemistry, computer science, or related fields; experience with cheminformatics and AI/ML applications in drug discovery; proficiency in Python/R, SQL, cheminformatics toolkits (RDKit, DeepChem), and data visualization. Preferred skills include experience with cloud computing, high-performance Linux clusters, advanced ML libraries (TensorFlow, PyTorch), and knowledge of multiple therapeutic modalities (small molecules, peptides, ADCs). The candidate should possess strong problem-solving, communication skills, and a publication record. The role involves cross-functional teamwork within a large R&D division dedicated to structure-based modeling, predictive science, and innovative drug design. It is based in a flexible or hybrid setting with no travel requirements.
