Essential Functions:
- Utilize ServiceNow to research and resolve Tier 2 benefits operations cases.
- Oversee daily administration of company benefits programs, including medical, dental, vision, COBRA, retiree MAP & EGWP, HSA, FSAs, life insurance, disability, wellness programs, and ancillary plans.
- Manage implementations, enhancements, testing, deployment, execution, administration, and communications of BMS benefit plans and systems.
- Partner with Benefit Strategists and Service Delivery Management to assess feasibility for proposed benefit additions/modifications; participate in implementation meetings and provide SME guidance on benefit operations, plan requirements, vendor deliverables, and project plans.
- Identify opportunities for process automation to reduce manual work and streamline processes.
- Serve as main point of contact for benefit administrators, carriers, and vendors for operational activities, including plan requirements.
- Collaborate on Annual Enrollments planning/execution; partner with Communications to ensure employees are informed on benefit choices and timelines; oversee administrators to deliver contracted services within timelines; analyze enrollment data for trends and improvements.
- Compile and present relevant data for second-level appeals.
- Review and update employee reference materials/Knowledge Articles; ensure updates and reposting before expiration.
- Prepare and/or oversee vendor preparation of required government filings (5500s, SARs, 1095s, etc.).
- Prepare financial reports; audit and reconcile carrier/vendor invoicing; support PO process.
- Assist with internal/external audits and benefit surveys.
- Coordinate M&A activities for Benefit Operations (data load date coordination, enrollment windows, M&A concessions planning, Prism reports data, historic archiving requirements, etc.).
- Collaborate with internal partners, carriers, and vendors to create training and resources (webinars, workshops, informational materials).
- Monitor/analyze benefits utilization, costs, and trends to identify cost-saving and optimization opportunities.
- Stay current on industry best practices, emerging trends, and regulation changes.
Education (preferred):
- Bachelorβs degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field, or equivalent experience.
- Certifications such as SHRM-CP, PHR, or CEBS.
Experience (required/preferred):
- 5β7 years benefits administration; at least 3 years in a senior/lead role.
- Canadian experience preferred.
- Self-insured benefits plans or large, complex benefits programs required; RRSP and Medicare knowledge preferred.
- Benefits administration software and HRIS platforms required; Workday and Alight familiarity preferred.
- Strongly preferred: implementing new benefit technologies, upgrading systems, operational redesigns.

- Strong analytical skills and MS Excel; exceptional attention to detail; ability to interpret/present complex benefits data.
- Excellent written/verbal communication; able to explain complex benefits to stakeholders.
- Exceptional project management/organizational skills; ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a multifunctional team and deliver goals with minimal supervision.
Work Environment:
- Ability to work in a typical office environment; 50% hybrid schedule.
- Occasional travel may be required.

Compensation (explicit range shown in posting):
- $68,430β$82,915 (Tampa, FL, US) for full-time (FTE).
