Senior Sourcing Manager

Role: Senior Sourcing Manager supporting G&A, IT, and Commercial categories within pharmaceutical/biotech procurement. Objectives: partner with stakeholders to lead complex sourcing initiatives, optimize supplier performance, and mitigate supply chain risks. Responsibilities: strengthen strategic relationships, manage high-impact spend through sourcing and outsourcing, develop supplier performance and segmentation programs, and ensure supply chain continuity and compliance. Qualifications: Master's degree with 7+ years, or Bachelor's with 9+ years in pharma/biotech procurement or outsourcing; experience with R&D vendor management, contracts, and procurement systems (e.g., Ariba, SAP). Skills: advanced understanding of drug development, GxP/regulatory standards, financial analysis, and negotiation; proficiency in MS Office; strong problem-solving and stakeholder engagement abilities. Preferred: familiarity with CLM systems like Ariba or Agiloft. Biopharma specifics: experience in pharmaceutical/biotech industry, supporting outsourcing in R&D, legal, HR, finance, and manufacturing; focus on GxP compliance, process improvement, and cross-functional collaboration. Work setup: primarily office-based, no supervisory responsibilities, with an emphasis on strategic partnership and supplier risk management.
