Senior Software Engineer — VETi Platform

Role: Senior Software Engineer responsible for developing software for Kodiak’s AI-enabled wearable vision platform (VETi), from prototypes to reliable engineering systems. Responsibilities: design, develop, and optimize software for device control, imaging workflows, AR/VR interfaces, real-time signal and image processing; work with embedded platforms, sensors (LiDAR, OCT), and hardware accelerators; collaborate across software, hardware, and scientific teams; convert research prototypes into production-quality software for clinical and validation use. Requirements: B.S./M.S./Ph.D. in Computer/Electrical Engineering or related; 5+ years of experience with complex systems development; proficiency in C, C++, Python; experience with hardware integration, imaging, sensors, Linux/Windows; problem-solving and debugging skills. Preferred: experience with embedded systems, medical imaging, AR/VR, robotics, real-time processing, GPUs, NPUs, deep learning, and edge ML deployment.
