Responsibilities:
- Ensure Security Teams’ production systems run smoothly within uptime objectives and stay updated.
- Monitor performance/capacity, recommend and implement changes, and automate repetitive tasks.
- Architect systems to improve performance, reliability, and scalability.
- Build and iterate on CI/CD pipelines.
- Manage microservice and containerized applications; implement security controls in distributed systems/agents.
- Coordinate with engineers to automate deployments/configurations across platforms.
- Automate Observability implementation; improve observability and processes.
- Standardize alerts/notifications and support monitoring responses.
- Work with application teams to implement Observability in daily operations.
- Conduct post-mortems, root cause analysis, and action-item implementation.
- Promote DevOps and Agile/Scrum practices.
- Contribute to hybrid-cloud production containerization; implement automation/integration standards.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s (7 yrs) or Master’s (6 yrs); PhD (2 yrs).
- Security best practices; cloud administration knowledge (AWS/GCP/Azure).
- Observability fundamentals; high-scale/distributed architecture experience.
- Agile/DevOps knowledge; CI/CD tools (GitHub Actions, Bamboo, Jenkins, Azure DevOps).
- Docker workloads with Kubernetes/Amazon ECS; comfortable administering Linux/Windows.

Preferred:
- SPIRE/SPIFFE; Terraform/Crossplane; scripting (Python/Elixir/Go) and Git tooling.
- MCP servers with authorization, DB management (NoSQL/relational), AWS/Azure certs.
- Serverless architecture; container deployments; data pipeline tech (Kafka/Spark/etc).
- OpenTelemetry/Prometheus-Grafana; GitOps/Infrastructure as Code (ArgoCD/Helm).
