Senior Set-Up Mechanic

Role: Set Up Mechanic II responsible for packaging equipment setup, changeovers, troubleshooting, and maintenance within a pharmaceutical manufacturing environment. Objectives: ensure efficient, compliant operation of packaging machinery while adhering to GMP, SOP, OSHA, and FDA safety standards. Responsibilities: perform preventive and corrective maintenance, install and adjust equipment (bottle unscrambler, capper, labelers, sealers), manage change parts, conduct line qualifications (IQ/OQ/PQ), monitor inventory of spare parts, and support traceability systems. Qualifications: high school diploma or GED; 5+ years in manufacturing, pharmaceutical, or maintenance repair. Preferred skills include electrical/mechanical troubleshooting, familiarity with Track and Trace systems, and experience with GMP-regulated processes.
