Role: Senior Scientist specializing in transplant immunology and gene therapy for lung transplantation, focusing on ex vivo lung perfusion (EVLP) and organ development. Responsibilities: design and execute studies on innate and adaptive immune responses, evaluate immunomodulatory and gene delivery strategies (AAV, lentiviral, mRNA/LNP), characterize immune cell populations, support preclinical transplant studies, develop molecular assays, collaborate cross-functionally, contribute to IND-enabling work, mentor junior staff, and contribute to scientific publications and presentations. Requirements: Masterβs Degree in immunology, transplant biology, molecular biology, or related field; 8+ years biotech/pharma experience with a Masterβs or 5+ years with a PhD; strong background in immunology, viral and non-viral gene delivery, and assay development; excellent experimental design, data analysis, communication, and team skills. Preferred qualifications include a PhD, experience in lung transplantation, EVLP, immune modulation, gene therapy platforms, and regulatory interactions.
