Role: Senior Scientist in Oncology Translational Research at Bristol Myers Squibb, focused on advancing oncology programs from candidate optimization through IND activities to clinical proof-of-concept. Responsibilities: develop and apply biomarker, pharmacodynamic, and target engagement assays; utilize flow cytometry, multiplexed and quantitative assays (ELISA, MSD, Luminex); conduct in vitro oncology models, including patient-derived cultures; employ functional genomics tools (CRISPR, RNAi); collaborate with project teams and external labs; co-author study reports and scientific publications; interpret data independently. Requirements: Ph.D. in Life Sciences with 2+ years postdoctoral or industry experience, or Masterโs with 5+ years, or Bachelorโs with 7+ years in drug discovery or translational oncology research. Preferred: proficiency in flow cytometry and human blood biomarker assays, experience with biomarker assays, cell-based models, patient-derived tumor cultures, and immuno-oncology platforms. High-value: oncology, immuno-oncology, biomarker development, preclinical models, IND-enabling activities, Cambridge MA location. Collaboration: cross-functional within BMS, external labs. Work setup: hybrid/onsite at Cambridge Crossing; some travel expected.
