The Translational PK/PD Senior Scientist will:
- Serve as PK/PD modeler in cross-functional teams to support model-informed decisions on drug discovery, modality selection, and dose prediction.
- Integrate in vitro and in vivo data to build PKPD, PBPK, QSP, and other mechanistic modeling platforms to support forward/reverse translation.
- Collaborate to design experimental studies and modeling plans to identify and optimize drug candidates.
- Collaborate on automated workflows for implementing modeling platforms to inform human PK/PD and dose projections.
- Build expertise and leadership in translational modeling and drug discovery (with guidance from experienced modelers).
Qualifications
- Education: Masterβs (3+ years), PharmD (1 year), or Ph.D. in pharmacokinetics/pharmacodynamics, mathematics, applied mathematics, systems/computational biology, chemical/biomedical engineering, statistics/biostatistics, or related field.
Required Experience/Skills
- Hands-on translational PKPD modeling using standard software (e.g., Matlab, OSP Suite, Monolix, R).
- Strong experimental design, mathematical problem solving, critical data analysis/interpretation, and/or statistics.
Preferred Experience/Skills
- Modeling experience informing discovery/development decisions for biologics, protein therapeutics, and/or peptides.
- Interdisciplinary teamwork and collaborative problem solving.
- Expertise developing novel PKPD/PBPK/QSP (or related) mechanistic approaches.
