Senior Scientist – Surface Biology Early Validation
What You Will Do
- Design and execute scalable cell-based assays to assess membrane protein expression, localization, and internalization
- Apply flow cytometry-based approaches to generate quantitative and reproducible data
- Integrate complementary approaches such as imaging-based assays to support target evaluation
- Develop and optimize assays for robustness, scalability and consistency
- Analyze and interpret experimental data to support target evaluation
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate findings into discovery programs
- Maintain high standards of experimental rigor and documentation
Basic Qualifications
- Doctorate degree OR
- Master’s degree and 2 years of scientific experience OR
- Bachelor’s degree and 4 years scientific experience OR
- Associate’s degree and 8 years scientific experience OR
- High school diploma / GED and 10 years scientific experience
Preferred Qualifications
- PhD in Cell Biology, Molecular Biology, or related discipline
- 2+ years of relevant industry experience, including leadership of scientific projects or teams
- Strong expertise in flow cytometry, imaging, and cellular assay development
- Experience working with membrane proteins or receptor biology
- Experience with scalable or high-throughput assays workflows
- Familiarity with molecular biology techniques or genome editing approaches to support assay design
- Strong data analysis, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills
- Effective collaboration and communication skills
