Role: Senior Scientist in Sterile Oligonucleotide Drug Product Development, focused on developing and optimizing formulations and manufacturing processes for oligonucleotide therapeutics, primarily in CNS and eye indications. Responsibilities: conduct hands-on formulation work, develop scalable processes from R&D to manufacturing, perform physicochemical and biophysical characterization, author technical and regulatory documents, support equipment selection, oversee process validation, and assist manufacturing operations. Requirements: PhD in Bio/Chemical Engineering, Pharmaceutical Sciences, or related field with 4+ years industry experience; or MSc with 6+ years; or BSc with 10+ years. Must have at least one year of experience in oligonucleotide or mRNA sterile drug product development. Preferred skills include expertise in oligonucleotide conjugates, delivery routes (intrathecal, ocular, IV), analytical characterization (HPLC, LC-MS, DSC, etc.), bioconjugation chemistry, and high-throughput screening.
