Role: Senior Scientist focused on developing a novel platform for small molecule drug discovery, combining experimental and computational approaches. Responsibilities: design and synthesize DNA-encoded small molecule libraries, execute affinity-based screenings against protein targets, deconvolute and validate hits through off-DNA resynthesis and assays, optimize workflows, and contribute to setting technical direction. Requirements: Ph.D. in organic, medicinal chemistry, or chemical biology with 5+ years of industry or postdoctoral experience; expertise in DNA-compatible chemistry, DEL design, synthesis, affinity selection, hit validation, and off-DNA resynthesis. Preferred: experience with cheminformatics, microfluidics, automation, and CRO management. HighValue: early-stage biotech, platform technology development, DNA-encoded libraries, affinity screening, hit validation, chemical biology. WorkSetup: collaborative team environment, entrepreneurial culture, opportunity for substantial ownership.
