Senior Scientist, siRNA Screening Automation and Molecular Analytics

Role: Senior Scientist supporting high-throughput siRNA screening platform development within AbbVie's Biotherapeutic and Genetic Medicine department, focusing on automation-enabled workflows and data analysis for accelerated lead discovery. Responsibilities: lead automation of sample preparation (RNA extraction, RT-qPCR, RNA-seq), design and execute molecular assays for siRNA activity, develop data analysis workflows for screening and sequencing datasets, optimize automation processes, troubleshoot technical issues, and collaborate with cross-functional teams including bioinformatics.
