Senior Scientist – Quantitative LC-MS Protein Bioanalysis

Role: Bioanalytical Scientist in Pharmacokinetics & Drug Metabolism (PKDM-BA) at Amgen, developing LC-MS-based assays for target protein characterization across discovery and development. Responsibilities: design and optimize quantitative workflows to measure target abundance, engagement, turnover, protein interactions, and subcellular kinetics; support candidate selection, preclinical, and clinical programs; troubleshoot assay and instrument issues; collaborate with cross-functional teams to interpret PK/PD, biomarker, and mechanism data; prepare technical documentation. Requirements: PhD in Analytical Chemistry, Biochemistry, Pharmaceutical Sciences, or related field with strong LC-MS expertise; 4+ years (Master’s) or 6+ years (Bachelor’s) relevant experience; proven skills in LC-MS method development in complex matrices; proteomics experience; proficiency in sample prep, automation platforms, and various LC-MS instruments; strong data interpretation and communication skills.
