Senior Scientist, Quality Control

Role: Senior Scientist in Quality Control responsible for analytical testing of raw materials, in-process, finished products, and stability samples. Objectives include ensuring analytical accuracy, compliance with cGMP and regulations, and supporting validation activities. Responsibilities: perform physical and chemical analyses using techniques like HPLC, UV-Vis, Karl Fischer, spectroscopy, and particle sizing; calibrate instruments; review data for completeness and compliance; participate in investigations and validation projects; assist with troubleshooting and training. Requirements: Bachelor's in Pharmacy or Chemistry; 5+ years' experience in QC/analytical chemistry; proficiency with spectrophotometric, chromatographic, and physical measurement techniques; strong understanding of cGMP, SOPs, and regulatory standards. Preferred: experience with method transfer, out-of-specification investigations, and calibration of analytical instrumentation. High-Value: expertise in pharmaceutical analysis, validation, and compliance; familiarity with USP/EP/BP/JP procedures; work in a GMP environment with biologics or small molecule dosage forms. Work Setup: on-site in Piscataway, NJ, with a standard 40-hour workweek.
