Senior Scientist, Quality Control

Role: Scientific QC Analyst specializing in pharmaceutical quality control testing, responsible for executing physical and chemical analyses of raw materials, in-process, and finished drug products, including stability samples. Objectives: ensure compliance with cGMP, SOPs, and regulatory standards while supporting validation and verification activities. Responsibilities: perform analytical testing using techniques such as HPLC, UV-Vis, spectroscopy, and particle size analysis; document procedures and results; assist in investigations of anomalous data; calibrate equipment; and contribute to method transfer projects. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Chemistry or related science; 5+ years of relevant laboratory testing experience with biopharma products; in-depth knowledge of analytical chemistry techniques, cGMP requirements, and compendial methods (USP/EP/BP/JP). Preferred: Master’s degree in Chemistry or related field. High-Value: experience with pharmaceutical testing, analytical method troubleshooting, trend analysis in data, and validation activities. Collaboration: support from laboratory supervisor, potentially train junior staff. Work Setup: office-based with laboratory testing; salary range $90,000-$110,000, with potential incentive bonuses, based on experience and location.
