Role Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated Senior Scientist to join our Antibody Discovery team within the Protein Expression Sciences department. You will be at the center of early-stage therapeutic discovery efforts where you will be managing ongoing programs and analyzing data sets to help select our next generation of therapeutic antibodies. You will be able to seamlessly work across groups to coordinate screening campaigns, analyze high-throughput screening data for multiple concurrent projects and clearly communicate the findings to key collaborators.

Responsibilities

  • Managing multiple projects simultaneously and interacting with others in a cross-functional team matrix
  • Establishing and communicating timelines among research teams both within and outside our department
  • Analyzing primary screening data using a variety of software packages and selecting antibodies with desired functional properties
  • Ensuring accurate and complete capture of relevant data into internal databases and data repositories
  • Presenting results of antibody discovery campaigns to our team, across departments, and to senior leaders
  • Keeping up to date on the latest advances in the field and contributing to team strategies
  • Data mining and summarizing results to assist with process improvements

Qualifications

  • Required: Ph.D. and 0-4+ years of relevant experience or BS/MS with 8-10+ years of relevant experience in Molecular Biology, Cellular Biology, Biochemistry, Immunology or related field
  • Required: Working knowledge of Immunology with an understanding of antibody generation, structure and characterization
  • Required: Experience running analysis on large datasets and synthesizing results
  • Preferred: Experience with multi-well assays used in drug screening along with experience with high-throughput data analysis
  • Preferred: Demonstrated experience in project management, with strong analytical and organizational skills
  • Preferred: Familiarity with laboratory automation and data management systems (LIMS)
  • Preferred: A strong publication record in peer reviewed journals
