Role Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated Senior Scientist with deep expertise in structural biology, biochemistry, molecular and cellular biology to join our Bispecific Antibodies group. You will be part of an innovative team driving the design and optimization of novel antibody therapeutics by integrating structural biology data, AI/ML models, and high-throughput experimental validation. As a Senior Scientist within the Bispecifics Group, a typical day might include:
Responsibilities
- Design and engineer novel antibody therapeutics using structural biology insights and AI/ML tools.
- Generate, interpret, and apply structural data (e.g., cryo-EM) to support antibody engineering efforts.
- Evaluate engineered antibodies through protein expression, purification and in vitro characterization.
- Collaborate cross-functionally on mechanism of action studies to support novel antibody engineering efforts.
- Analyze complex datasets independently and present results at group, department, and senior leadership meetings.
- Maintain accurate electronic records; prepare documents for regulatory filings, patent applications, and scientific publications.
- Stay current with advances in AI-driven drug discovery, structural biology, and antibody engineering; proactively bring new ideas into the team.
Qualifications
- Required: 0-5 years of relevant postdoctoral or industry experience; strong track record of peer-reviewed publications; strong proficiency in structural biology and protein biochemistry.
- Preferred: Knowledge of immunology and antibody engineering. Experience with high-resolution microscopy.
- Preferred: Are passionate about innovation and early-stage drug development; team player; excellent communication, organization, and time management skills; ability to adapt to changes and manage multiple projects.
Education
- Ph.D. in Biochemistry, Molecular and Cellular Biology, Structural Biology, or a related field.
