Senior Scientist-Protein Assay Development – Spatial Biology

Role: Senior scientist leading research and development in Spatial Biology, focusing on tissue-based protein and biomolecule mapping technologies. Responsibilities: optimize tissue handling and processing protocols; design and perform experiments with innovative imaging platforms; interpret complex data in collaboration with computational teams; develop robust protocols for internal use across product development. Requirements: PhD in Molecular/Cell Biology, Immunology, Biochemistry or related field; 5+ years in proteomics, tissue imaging, spatial techniques, or in situ hybridization in biotech; hands-on experience with high-plex protein multiplexing, tissue processing, histology, immunohistochemistry, and antibody characterization; strong analytical, organizational, troubleshooting, and communication skills; ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. Preferred: pathology experience; familiarity with R, Python, AI-based data analysis, and image analysis. High-value biopharma specifics: focus on spatial multiomics, advanced tissue imaging, and assay development in tissue samples, possibly FFPE; cross-disciplinary collaboration with chemistry, computational biology, software, engineering, and microfluidics teams.
