Senior Scientist – Process Analytical Technology (On-site)

Role: Senior Scientist specializing in Process Analytical Technologies (PAT) within biopharma API process development, focusing on small molecule drugs. Responsibilities: provide technical leadership in deploying in-line, on-line, and at-line PAT methods; partner with process chemistry teams to address mechanistic questions; support reaction monitoring, impurity profiling, and structure confirmation; develop standardized analytical platforms for real-time process control; lead scale-up and technology transfer to manufacturing; contribute to regulatory documentation and interactions. Requirements: B.S./M.S. in chemistry, biochemistry, or related field with 3+ years industry experience or Ph.D. with minimal experience; strong organic reaction mechanism expertise; proficiency in optical spectroscopy (Raman, FTIR, NIR), NMR, chromatography, and chemometrics. Preferred: peer-reviewed contributions; experience in pharmaceutical process development, scale-up, and control strategy development; collaborative skills.
