(Senior) Scientist, Optical Technologies

Role: Experimental scientist specializing in optics and vibrational spectroscopy to develop biological observation platforms. Objectives: design, execute, and troubleshoot experiments using techniques like Raman microscopy and IR spectroscopy; develop protocols and optimize measurement workflows; collaborate with external CROs, academic labs, and internal teams. Responsibilities: own a portfolio of experiments, ensure data quality/reproducibility, and contribute to scientific and technical strategy for a new venture. Qualifications: PhD (or equivalent) in physics, biophysics, chemistry, engineering, or related; extensive hands-on experience with optical microscopy and vibrational spectroscopy; strong experimental and troubleshooting skills; solid understanding of optical instrumentation physics. Preferred: experience with advanced Raman (CARS, SRS), IR spectroscopy, biological samples, scripting (Python, MATLAB), and interdisciplinary collaboration.
