Senior Scientist Omics - IMM

Role: Senior Scientist in Data Science within Johnson & Johnson's Innovative Medicine division, focusing on drug target identification and evaluation in Immunology. Responsibilities include developing integrated analytical frameworks combining multi-omic, phenotypic, and cellular data using network models, machine learning, and novel algorithms to enhance target validation and patient stratification. The role involves applying statistical and AI/ML methods to analyze complex biological datasets, providing modeling expertise to predict therapeutic qualities and liabilities, and translating computational findings into biological validation. Cross-functional collaboration with Data Sciences and Therapeutic Discovery teams is essential. Qualifications: Ph.D. in Bioinformatics, Computational Biology, or related field; 2-3 years post-PhD experience; proficiency in multi-omic data analysis, programming, and computational methods; strong communication and collaboration skills; independent and innovative work ethic. Preferred skills include experience with Immunology, network analysis, perturbation data analysis, NLP, ML/AI, druggability assessments, and familiarity with drug discovery processes.
