Responsibilities:
- Build mechanistic understanding of interplay between formulation, stability, device, and process to ensure robustness/quality of biotherapeutic drug substance and drug product.
- Develop and implement biophysical and particle characterization tools; collaborate with process, formulation, and device teams as part of CMC development.
- Solve challenging analytical problems using deep analytical insight; author technical reports/regulatory documents; present technical data.
- Manage projects; conduct independent research, publish findings, and present at scientific conferences.

Education/Qualifications:
- Ph.D. in Biophysics, Biochemistry, Chemistry, Chemical/Biomedical Engineering, Pharmaceutical Sciences (or related) with 0โ€“4 years relevant industry experience (Ph.D. candidates graduating by Fall 2026 considered).
OR
- M.S. in the same fields with 4โ€“8 years relevant industry experience.

Required Experience/Skills:
- Biologics analysis, protein/peptide stability, and proteinโ€“protein interactions.
- Subvisible/submicron particle characterization (flow imaging microscopy, BMI, flow cytometry, DLS).
- Hands-on protein/peptide biophysical characterization (CD, IR, DSC, AUC).
- Understanding of protein aggregation mechanisms and links across analytical methods.
- Deliver complex objectives under aggressive timelines; initiative/creativity/innovative problem solving.
- Strong oral/written communication; able to work independently and cross-functionally.

Desired:
- Lyophilized protein formulation characterization; molecular modeling; biological formulation & analytical method development; experience with peptides, mAbs, ADC, fusion proteins.
