Senior Scientist, LNP, Process Development & Manufacturing

Role: Senior Scientist in Lipid Nanoparticle (LNP) process development, focusing on formulation, targeted LNP engineering, and scaling for therapeutics. Responsibilities: lead LNP formulation studies supporting process characterization, technology transfer, and GMP manufacturing; collaborate with cross-functional teams (MSAT, Analytical, Quality, Manufacturing) and external clients; characterize formulations via techniques like DLS, zeta potential, encapsulation efficiency, and stability; analyze data to identify process improvements and communicate findings; assist in evaluating work packages for client manufacturing proposals. Requirements: Ph.D. in Pharmaceutical Sciences, Bioengineering, or related field with 5+ years industry experience in LNP development, or BS/MS with 12+ years; minimum of 6 years direct LNP process development or manufacturing experience; strong knowledge of GMP, CMC documentation, scale-up, and process optimization; proficiency in analytical techniques and automated manufacturing systems (e.g., TFF, Cytiva). Preferred: targeted LNP development, ligand conjugation, analytical method development, and integration of mRNA processes; experience with DoE and statistical analysis tools.
