Senior Scientist - LCMS

What You Will Do
Develop and apply innovative LC-MS-based bioanalytical assays to quantify therapeutic candidates, assess target engagement/modulation, characterize target dynamics, and measure biomarkers across discovery and development programs. Partner with cross-functional teams to support candidate selection, preclinical development, clinical evaluation, and regulatory submissions (IND/NDA).

Key Responsibilities
- Develop, optimize, and perform quantitative LC-MS assays for therapeutics, biomarkers, and target dynamics (abundance, engagement/occupancy, turnover kinetics, cellular trafficking).
- Design bioanalytical strategies to support mechanistic understanding of drug-target interactions, pathway modulation, pharmacodynamic responses, and biomarker kinetics.
- Apply quantitative MS workflows in complex biological matrices (plasma, tissue, in vitro).
- Evaluate and implement emerging analytical technologies for novel modalities (complex biologics, multispecifics, targeted protein degradation, oligonucleotide modalities, and others).
- Independently troubleshoot assay development, sample prep, data quality, and LC-MS instrument performance.
- Collaborate to interpret data in the context of PK/PD, translational biomarkers, target biology, and MoA.
- Maintain ELN records, prepare technical reports, and communicate results.

Qualifications
Basic: PhD in relevant discipline with strong LC-MS training OR MS + 3 years relevant experience OR BS + 5 years relevant experience.
Preferred: LC-MS method development/quantitative bioanalysis in complex matrices; assays for therapeutics/target engagement/modulation/target dynamics/biomarkers; proteomics (targeted/untargeted); sample prep (e.g., tissue homogenization, immunoaffinity capture); automated platforms (AssayMAP Bravo, Tecan, KingFisher); LC-MS systems (high/micro/nano-flow; triple quad, Q-TOF, Orbitrap); troubleshooting and strong communication.

Benefits (as stated)
- Retirement and Savings Plan (company contributions), medical/dental/vision, life/disability, flexible spending accounts, discretionary bonus (or sales incentive), stock-based long-term incentives, award-winning time-off, flexible work models (where possible).
