Role: Senior Scientist supporting preclinical research in neuro- and ocular disease models for RNA-based therapeutics at Stoke Therapeutics. Responsibilities: design and execute in vivo studies, develop assays for biomarkers, and collaborate across functions to support proof of concept and candidate selection. Requirements: Bachelor's degree with 16+ years, Master's with 10+ years, or Ph.D. with 6+ years in pharmacology, neuroscience, or related fields; experience with intrathecal/intracerebroventricular dosing, oligonucleotide therapeutics, and tissue-based assay development; strong communication and project management skills. High-Value: focus on CNS and eye indications, haploinsufficiency diseases, RNA/antisense oligonucleotides, preclinical pharmacology, in vivo biomarker development, and working with CROs. WorkSetup: lab-based in Bedford, MA, moving to Waltham, MA; approximately 5% travel.
