Role Summary
As a member of our ADC Discovery team, you will perform spatial biology experiments to validate targets for antibody-based therapeutics, as well as explore their effects on the tumor microenvironment. You will serve as a histopathology/immunohistochemistry subject matter expert, representing the In Situ Biology sub-team and communicating findings to interdisciplinary project teams.
Responsibilities
- Independently design, execute, and interpret experiments aimed at understanding the spatial context of target expression in tumor and normal tissues.
- Work with project teams, management, pathologists, and peers within the Oncology Research Unit to ensure studies are aligned with project goals and best experimental practices.
- Communicate with project teams to ensure executed studies satisfy intended goals and results are interpreted appropriately.
- Present findings to project teams, leadership, and interdepartmental meetings.
- Represent the In Situ Biology sub-team on project teams as a histopathology/immunohistochemistry subject matter expert and contribute to scientific discussions.
- Evaluate, propose, and implement new procedures in step with advancing industry and academic standards.
- Create reports, contribute to internal and external presentations and journal articles, and diligently record experiments in laboratory notebooks.
