Role: Senior Scientist in Immunology Research focused on inflammatory and autoimmune diseases, driving target discovery, validation, and biomarker development. Responsibilities include designing and executing in vitro and in vivo studies, developing immunological assays, analyzing complex datasets, and collaborating across disciplines to advance discovery programs. The candidate will contribute to understanding immune mechanisms and identifying therapeutic targets within biopharma's immunology portfolio. Requirements: PhD preferred or MS/BS with 2+ (PhD) or 6+ (MS) years of industry experience in immunology, cellular/molecular biology, or related fields, with expertise in immune cell biology, assay development, and disease models. Skills include flow cytometry, cytokine analysis, genomics, and handling primary human or murine immune samples. Preferred qualifications encompass experience with biologics, small molecules, high-dimensional flow cytometry, multiomics, and biomarker strategies. This role involves close cross-functional collaboration across pharmacology, medicinal chemistry, and translational sciences, with a focus on advancing immune-mediated disorder therapies. Located in South San Francisco, the position requires onsite presence with frequent in-person work.
