Role: Senior Scientist in Immunoassay Critical Reagents and Reference Standards within Vaxcyte's CMC Immunoassay group, leading development, qualification, and lifecycle management of critical antibodies and reference materials for vaccine immunoassays. Responsibilities: generate and characterize monoclonal antibodies, develop stability and qualification strategies, support assay development and validation, oversee outsourced reagent manufacturing, and manage regulatory documentation. Requirements: PhD in Biochemistry, Immunology, or related field with 5+ years (PhD), 10+ years (MS), or 13+ years (BS) industry experience; proven monoclonal antibody generation and characterization expertise; experience with immunoassay platforms such as ELISA, MSD, bead-based assays; GMP support is desirable. High-Value: vaccine biologics pipeline, critical reagent and reference material lifecycle, ligand-binding immunoassays, GMP environment, San Carlos CA location, onsite work (minimum 4 days/week). Collaboration with CROs, CDMOs, external vendors, and internal teams is integral to the role.
