Senior Scientist II

Role: Senior Scientist I/II in Analytical Development supporting biopharmaceutical process development at AbbVie. Main objectives include developing and qualifying analytical methods such as HPLC and capillary electrophoresis for biologic pipeline projects, supporting process understanding from discovery through clinical stages. Responsibilities encompass method development and transfer for in-process controls, supporting GMP QC testing, authoring technical and regulatory documents, and leading analytical innovation. The role may involve mentoring and representing analytical functions in cross-functional teams, including CMC strategy and regulatory submissions. Qualifications: PhD or MS with 10+ years or 0-4+ years' relevant experience in Biochemistry, Analytical Chemistry, or related fields; strong theoretical and practical expertise in analytical techniques; effective communication skills. Preferred skills include cross-functional collaboration, independence, scientific creativity, and experience with monoclonal antibody or biologic analytical development.
