Key responsibilities:
- Provide internal lab based bioanalytical support investigating the PK/TK properties of low molecular weight and novel modality compounds.
- Set up new LC-MS workflow by engaging key stakeholders.
- Mentor junior associates to support advanced method development for custom discovery PK and PKPD.
- Serve as a subject matter expert in bioanalysis with biotransformation and in vitro/in vivo colleagues, and collaborate with chemists and biologists.
- Independently conceive and run complex experiments/workflows implementing project strategy.
- Analyze, write reports, and communicate results in project meetings.
- Implement technologies such as LC-MS/MS, SFC-MS/MS, or LC-HRMS.
- Explore automation and software solutions to improve workflow efficiency.
- Collaborate with CRO partners for custom BA method transfers.
- Use established networks and build new connections.
- Comply with local and Novartis-specific rules and regulations.

Essential requirements:
- B.S. (6+ years) or M.S. (4+ years) or PhD (1+ years) as a bioanalytical lab scientist in biotech/pharma.
- Independently perform high-quality, fit-for-purpose bioanalysis within short timelines; emerging scientific leader.
- Hands-on custom method development; sample prep (SPE, LLE, IMC, etc.); quantitative LC-MS methods (low- and high-resolution).
- Ability to adapt and shift priorities.
- Strong time management and prioritization under tight timelines.
- Motivated, curious, creative; thrive in a matrixed environment; communicate effectively.
- Good oral/written communication and presentation skills.

Desirable requirements:
- BA data analysis and PK/TK reporting experience.
- Proven track record establishing new lab workflows.
