Role: Senior scientist leading downstream process development for complex biologics within AbbVie's CMC purification team, focusing on monoclonal antibodies, multispecifics, and novel modalities. Responsibilities: design, optimize, characterize, and scale-up purification processes for early to late-stage biologics, including technology transfer, viral clearance studies, and process understanding through mechanistic modeling and data analytics. Develop and evaluate advanced bioprocess technologies, author technical and regulatory documentation, and support GMP manufacturing. Requirements: PhD with 4+ years, or Masterโs with 10+ years, or Bachelorโs with 12+ years of experience in bioprocess engineering, protein biochemistry, or related fields; deep knowledge of downstream unit operations; proven ability to independently conduct experimental work and interpret data.
