Responsibilities:
- Operate and maintain LC/MS instruments to generate high-quality experimental data.
- Perform affinity purification of biotherapeutics (e.g., monoclonal/multispecific antibodies, ADCs, antibody-siRNA conjugates, tLNPs).
- Analyze data; maintain detailed study documentation in electronic laboratory notebooks; communicate results internally/externally.
- Support method development and assay optimization for quantitative bioanalysis and in vivo stability assessment.
- Evaluate novel in vitro tools/methods to assess serum aggregation and stability of biologics and genetic medicine modalities.
- Serve as a characterization liaison for novel biologics within QTAS; coordinate submissions, allocate requests, and review in vitro stability data with cross-functional partners.
- Stay current with emerging literature in biologics in vitro characterization and bioanalysis.
- Leverage AI-enabled tools and data-driven approaches to predict/deepen understanding of biophysical and stability properties.
- Mentor/supervise 2–3 scientist/senior scientist.

Qualifications:
- PhD in Biological/Pharmaceutical Sciences, Chemistry, or related field with 4+ years bioanalytical pharma/biotech industry experience; or BS/MS with 10+ years experience in biologics characterization, bioanalysis, and DMPK projects.
- Understanding of biologics biophysical/biochemical properties (aggregation, PTMs, stability).
- In-depth LC-MS methodology for protein mass spectrometry; hands-on mass spectrometers (QQQ, TOF, Orbitrap) preferred.
- Deep knowledge of biologics/ADC in vitro characterization (serum stability, lysosomal stability, biotransformation) and quantitative bioanalysis for in vivo PK/TK/PK/PD.
- Ability to analyze data using Protein Metrics Byos, Mass MetaSite, Empower/Chromeleon, GraphPad Prism.
- Strong publication record; excellent communication/presentation; motivated, results-oriented.
