Senior Scientist I, Purification Process Development

Role: Senior Scientist I in Purification Process Development, focusing on advancing biotherapeutic purification technologies. Responsibilities: lead multidisciplinary teams in developing, characterization, and validating purification processes, including technology transfer to cGMP manufacturing; serve as internal and external SME for process design, transfer, and regulatory CMC documentation; drive process intensification and continuous manufacturing initiatives; design experiments (DOE), analyze data, author SOPs/reports, and mentor staff. Requirements: BS/MS in Engineering, Biochemistry, Biology with 8+ years (or PhD with 4+ years); expertise in chromatography, filtration, process development, and cGMP transfer; strong statistical and experimental design skills; experience with high throughput systems preferred; proficiency in data analysis tools (JMP, R, Python); knowledge of cell biology, protein chemistry, and bioprocessing principles; experience in GMP or controlled environments. Preferred: leadership in complex projects, process validation, and regulatory documentation.
