Responsibilities:
- Implement strategy and conduct/summarize non-clinical in vivo studies (internal/external) supporting new drug evaluations.
- Design, coordinate, and execute pre-clinical pharmacokinetic (PK) and pharmacodynamic (PD) in vivo experiments for target validation/maturation and mode-of-action studies.
- Develop and improve in vivo models and supporting in vitro/ex vivo assays; optimize assays for endpoint analyses.
- Identify and explore new therapeutic targets and principles; stay current via literature reviews.
- Analyze and interpret in vivo data; communicate implications of data packages internally/externally.
- Support regulatory submissions by providing relevant in vivo data and independently authoring regulatory reports.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to implement/refine methodologies; work with internal/external stakeholders to ensure study alignment and delivery.
- Lead highly complex, hands-on projects; mentor/supervise less experienced team members as needed.
Qualifications:
- BS/BA with 10+ years relevant experience; or Master’s with 8+ years; or PhD with 4+ years (required).
- Experience conducting and summarizing non-clinical in vivo studies.
- Strong knowledge/experience in PK/PD.
- Experimental design and data analysis experience.
- Familiarity with drug discovery and target validation.
- Excellent scientific communication and stakeholder engagement.
- Critical thinking and intellectual curiosity; ability to work independently on complex tasks.

- Base compensation range: $145,000–$190,000; eligible for company bonus.
