SUMMARY/JOB PURPOSE
- Support in vivo pharmacology research efforts for Biotherapeutics projects, incorporating cancer biology/immuno-oncology animal models and PK/PD/efficacy concepts.

Essential Duties/Responsibilities
- Lead, design, execute, and interpret in vivo pharmacology (PK/PD/efficacy) experiments in rodent tumor models.
- Perform hands-on in vivo work; support external CRO studies as needed.
- Represent the Pharmacology function on Biotherapeutics project teams.
- Provide scientific support to project teams and Biotherapeutics/Translational Pharmacology staff.
- Use literature and internal datasets to design and test hypotheses for drug targets.
- Prepare Pharmacology study reports and support IND filings.
- Collaborate with the IACUC committee to ensure compliance with animal welfare regulations.

Education/Experience/Qualifications
- BS/BA in Pharmacology/Cancer Biology/Molecular Cellular Biology or related + 7+ years relevant experience; or MS/MA + 5+ years; or PhD + 0 years; or equivalent combination.

Required/Preferred Skills & Experience
- Deep understanding of in vivo PK/PD/efficacy for oncology drug discovery (I-O biology and mechanisms).
- Extensive hands-on experience with in vivo tumor models (xenograft, syngeneic, GEMM, orthotopic, PDX, humanized).
- Proven ability writing preclinical Pharmacology regulatory/IND documents.
- Strong experimental design, data analysis, and scientific interpretation.
- Cell culture (aseptic technique) and basic in vivo techniques (dosing, blood collection).
- Strong publications record.
- Experience coordinating with CROs.
- Knowledge of IACUC and AAALAC regulations.
- Advanced MS Office/GraphPad/Benchling/Studylog; excellent communication and presentation skills.

Work Condition
- May require weekend/holiday work to support in vivo studies.
