Role: Senior Scientist I in in vivo pharmacology supporting biotherapeutics cancer and immuno-oncology projects. Primary objectives include designing, executing, and interpreting PK/PD/efficacy experiments in rodent tumor models, supporting IND filings, and collaborating with project teams. Responsibilities encompass hands-on animal work, study design, data analysis, and external CRO coordination, representing pharmacology in cross-functional teams. Requirements: PhD in Pharmacology, Cancer Biology, or related field; at least 0-7+ years relevant experience, with deep expertise in in vivo tumor models (xenograft, PDX, syngeneic, GEMMs, humanized), PK/PD concepts, and biologics in oncology. Proven track record in regulatory documentation and scientific publications is essential. Knowledge of animal handling, dosing, necropsy, and compliance with IACUC and AAALAC guidelines is necessary. Skills include excellent communication, problem-solving, and familiarity with MS Office, GraphPad, Benchling. High-value biopharma specifics involve oncology biologics, immune-oncology, tumor models, and IND preparations. The role reports to senior leadership, with work primarily in a modern office environment, with potential weekend/holiday hours for studies.
