- Generate hypotheses, troubleshoot issues, and design/execute the next set of experiments with input from senior lab members/manager.
- Independently and collaboratively design, execute, and analyze in vitro experiments to profile small molecules and biologics and elucidate mechanisms of action.
- Execute cell and molecular biology assays (e.g., cell titer glo, flow cytometry, JESS, western blot, MSD).
- Culture cells using sterile technique, including genetic engineering and validation of cell lines.
- Use laboratory automation equipment (liquid handlers, plate readers, dispensers) to perform screens.
- Maintain organized and detailed records of all experiments.
- Collaborate across teams and train other team members in technical expertise as needed.
- Clearly communicate findings and present research to multidisciplinary project teams.
- Support lab operations (materials management, instrument maintenance, general lab duties).
Role Requirements:
Essential:
- BS/MS in biology or related field.
- Minimum 5+ years of industry experience (preferred).
- Extensive experience with cellular assay development and execution; high-throughput screening workflows strongly preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to analyze, interpret, and present data; use data to generate new hypotheses.
- Self-motivated, collaborative team player with strong organizational skills and willingness to expand skills.
- Level commensurate with experience.
Desired:
- Understanding of drug discovery optimization processes.
- Experience with discovery of antibody-drug-conjugates.
