Senior Scientist I, Analytical Development, Mass Spectrometry tLNP CMC

Role: LC-MS mass spectrometry SME supporting analytical development of tLNP therapeutics at AbbVie, focusing on mRNA, oligonucleotide, and LNP analysis. Responsibilities: operate, troubleshoot, and maintain LC-MS and chromatography platforms; develop and optimize analytical methods for critical quality attributes such as mRNA 5’ capping and polyA tail; collaborate with cross-functional teams (formulation, process development, Quality Assurance, Regulatory) to solve drug development challenges; author regulatory documents like IND submissions; conduct sample prep and data analysis; advance analytical techniques to improve efficiency. Requirements: Ph.D. in Analytical Chemistry, Biochemistry, Pharmaceutical Sciences, or related; 0-3 years industry experience; hands-on LC-MS expertise, especially Orbitrap, TOF; experience with mRNA and LNP analysis preferred; proficiency with data analysis software (XCalibur, Skyline, BioPharma Finder); detail-oriented with strong communication skills.
