Role: Senior Scientist in Functional Sciences within Discovery Biotherapeutics at BMS, focusing on target validation and functional characterization of antibody therapeutics across disease areas. Responsibilities: design and execute cellular screening and mechanistic assays for antibody-based biologics, develop relevant cell lines, characterize protein reagents, and explore new technologies including automation and AI/ML for workflow improvement. Serve as assay representative on multi-disciplinary teams, present data, and support target validation hypotheses. Requirements: Bachelor's degree with 7+ years, Master's with 5+ years, or PhD with 2+ years in molecular/cell biology, immunology, or oncology; hands-on experience in cellular assay development, especially with antibodies, TCEs, or ADCs; proficiency in flow cytometry, imaging, automation, and data analysis tools. Preferred: experience with in vitro target validation, assay miniaturization, and cross-functional team collaboration.
