Clinical Research and Development
Main Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, qualify, validate, and implement ligand-binding immunoassays supporting clinical endpoints across the vaccine portfolio.
- Apply immunoassay methods/technologies including ELISA, RIA, Luminex, Ortho VITROS, ECL, and automated platforms.
- Mentor, supervise, and train lab personnel while ensuring compliance and applicable regulatory standards.
- Support test method life cycle management (documentation, method suitability/trending, maintenance, etc.).
- Support analytical deliverables to meet project milestones.
- Serve as a key technical expert on internal teams and multidisciplinary teams.
- Perform laboratory-based work with high time spent in the laboratory.

Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s (B.Sc.) in Biological Sciences or related field + 6+ years relevant experience.
- OR Master’s (M.Sc.) in Biological Sciences or related field (accredited) + 3+ years relevant experience.
- OR Ph.D. in Biological Sciences or related field (accredited) + 1+ year relevant experience.

Additional Qualifications / Required Skills:
- Experience developing and/or applying ligand binding immunoassays (supported by publications/presentations).
- Ability to work with viruses, bacteria, and potentially infectious human samples (BSL-2 or BSL-2+).
- Ability to lead, mentor, and train lab staff.
- Strong ability to deliver complex objectives under aggressive timelines in a rapidly changing environment.
- Excellent technical, critical thinking, and communication skills; ability to manage projects, resolve technical problems independently, and work cross-functionally.
- Experience in a GXP-compliant environment.
- Understanding of GXP practices and procedures.
