Responsibilities:
- Design, conduct, interpret, and report cell-based assays using established methodologies.
- Develop new methods/protocols de novo as needed.
- Monitor, review, and critically interpret published work to guide internal research.
- Contribute to oncology drug discovery programs, including target identification and validation.
- Collaborate with discovery oncology, chemistry, biologics, pharmacology, and genomics/pharmacogenomics to integrate enabling technologies and answer key biological questions.
- Work with external academic/biotech/contract research organizations.
- Communicate data clearly to teams and stakeholders.
Education:
- Bachelorโs (with 7 years), Masterโs (with 4 years), or Ph.D. in Biology/Oncology/Cell Biology/Molecular Biology/Cancer Biology/Biochemistry/Immunology or related STEM, with relevant academic/industry experience.
Required:
- Expertise supporting oncology drug discovery via mechanistic cell-based assays.
- Strong hands-on wet lab molecular/cellular biology experience.
- Experience with multi-color flow cytometry.
- Ability to independently design experiments, interpret data, troubleshoot, and suggest next steps.
- Strong oral/written communication; team player.
Preferred:
- Industry experience with different therapeutic modalities (e.g., small molecules, biologics).
- Ability to thrive in a team environment.
