Responsibilities:
- Define and drive in vitro screening and pharmacological characterization for Degrader Antibody Conjugates (DACs), from primary screening through mechanistic/quantitative characterization.
- Design, build, and lead the in vitro pharmacology and screening framework for DACs and biologics.
- Serve as a key scientific decision-driver for DAC in vitro pharmacology, providing assay strategy, data interpretation, and go/no-go recommendations.
- Lead and influence a matrixed, cross-functional team across discovery biology, conjugation chemistry, analytical biochemistry, DMPK, and chemistry automation to run multiple programs in parallel.
- Design and execute pharmacology studies to assess biological activity and mechanism of action of lead molecules and candidates.
- Develop and perform cell-based assays (antigen binding, target engagement, targeted protein degradation) using cutting-edge technologies and automated workflows.
- Cultivate and maintain mammalian cell lines; experience engineering reporter lines and manipulating cell surface antigens is preferred.
- Stay current with literature and industry developments in ADC/DAC/biologics/targeted degradation.
- Mentor/develop scientists and ensure best-practice compliance.
- Communicate findings and strategy; author study reports/technical documentation; present to project teams and senior leadership.

Qualifications:
- Ph.D. in a relevant field with 4+ years post-grad industry/academic experience, or MS with 8+ years relevant industry experience.
- Demonstrated experience designing in vitro pharmacology studies and screening cascades (ADC/DAC experience strongly preferred).
- Leadership in a matrixed, cross-functional environment; strong communication and presentation skills.
- Hands-on mammalian cell culture; ability to independently execute/analyze/report quantitative cellular assays (e.g., luminescence-based degradation, viability, internalization).
- Mechanistic assay experience (e.g., antibody binding, intracellular drug release) highly desired.
- Familiarity with automation/liquid handlers and automated workflows.
- Strong analytical/problem-solving skills and judgment; ability to manage multiple priorities.
