Role: Senior Scientist (Upstream Process Development) within Bioprocess R&D, focusing on developing and optimizing manufacturing processes for recombinant proteins and modalities for clinical trials. Responsibilities: design and execute experiments in bench-top bioreactors, ensure technology transfer to pilot and GMP facilities, support large-scale production, and contribute to regulatory filings like INDs and BLAs. Involvement in advanced process technology projects using process analytical technologies is also expected. Qualifications: PhD (0-3 years) or Master's (7+ years) in Chemical/Biochemical Engineering, Bioengineering, or related fields; experience in scalable mammalian cell culture processes, process intensification, and continuous manufacturing; proficiency in aseptic techniques, experimental design, data analysis, and communication skills. Preferred: expertise with perfusion bioreactors, high-throughput platforms, process modeling, CFD, AI/ML analytics, and Python programming. High-Value: focus on biologics manufacturing, cell culture process development, late-stage clinical scale-up, and cross-functional collaboration in a GMP environment. Work setup: On-premise; occasional weekend work and travel may be required.
