Clinical Research and Development
Core responsibilities:
- Develop innovative solutions to complex chemistry problems across discovery-phase projects, from lead identification through candidate selection.
- Apply cutting-edge methodologies to synthetic route design to enable medicinal chemistry research and accelerate delivery of target compounds to fund pre-clinical and clinical studies.
- Collaborate with colleagues across Process and Medicinal Chemistry networks and throughout Discovery and Preclinical functions.
- Stay current with the latest synthetic methodologies; drive innovation and apply new concepts to continuously improve group capabilities.
- Participate in the external scientific community via publications and external presentations.
Education minimum requirement:
- PhD in Organic Chemistry achieved or expected in 2026/2027.
Required experience and skills:
- Conduct outstanding research in your field of expertise (shareable in interview).
- Demonstrated creativity and innovation in problem solving.
- Productive and efficient working in the lab.
- Strong written and oral communication skills; excellent collaboration skills.
- Established scientific reputation supported by publications and external presentations.
