Position Summary
- Sr. Scientist (In Vivo Pharmacology, Cell Therapy Thematic Research Center)
- Lead discovery and development of novel engineered immune effector cell therapeutics for cancer and other chronic diseases; oversee and mentor research associates; provide scientific and strategic leadership within collaborative cross-functional R&D teams.

Position Responsibilities
- Lead functional workstreams on cell therapy projects from target concept through IND.
- Represent in vivo pharmacology in cross-functional teams; influence decisions and communicate clear scientific recommendations.
- Design, execute, and interpret complex in vivo pharmacology studies; determine next logical steps.
- Author scientific documents (presentations, study reports, protocols, publications); contribute to regulatory and IP filings.
- Present complex concepts to governance and departmental audiences.
- Integrate literature, emerging technologies, and immunotherapy modalities to enhance study design.
- Supervise and mentor colleagues (functional guidance, scientific feedback, day-to-day technical support).
- Perform in fast-paced, deadline-driven, multi-project environment with strong scientific communication and collaboration.

Basic Qualifications
- Bachelorโ€™s degree with 7+ years academic/industry experience
OR Masterโ€™s degree with 5+ years academic/industry experience
OR Ph.D. (or equivalent) in Life Sciences with 2+ years academic/industry experience

Preferred Qualifications
- Ph.D. in Immunology/Cancer Biology/Virology or related field; in vivo immuno-oncology models and immune effector cell biology expertise.
- 4+ years post-degree industry experience in immune-based therapies/in vivo immunology/engineered cell therapies.
- Advanced murine tumor model development (syngeneic, xenograft, T-cell driven) and experience designing studies for mechanistic and therapeutic advancement.
- Familiarity with gene editing and delivery (e.g., AAV, non-viral delivery, CRISPR).
- Track record influencing project direction; strong scientific authorship and contributions to patents/regulatory documentation.
