Role: Senior Scientist, Biostatistics within Johnson & Johnson's Innovative Medicine division, supporting clinical development, medical affairs, discovery, and manufacturing studies. Responsibilities: design and analyze research studies using advanced statistical methodologies, optimize trial designs, and collaborate with cross-functional teams including QSCP and regulatory bodies. The role entails applying high-quality statistical tools (primarily R and SAS), interpreting complex data, and contributing to regulatory submissions and scientific publications. It involves addressing scientific, operational, and regulatory complexities, troubleshooting, and advancing statistical methodologies through innovation. The position also emphasizes building cross-organizational partnerships, representing the analytics function in teams, and communicating findings effectively. Qualifications: Ph.D. (preferred) or Master’s in Statistics or related field, with relevant experience; proficiency in R, SAS, and Python; excellent communication skills; experience working across drug discovery and development phases, preferably in biologics or small molecules, with knowledge of GxP standards. Experience in regulatory environments and clinical trial design is valued. Work setup: on-site in Spring House PA, Titusville NJ, Raritan NJ, San Diego CA, or Cambridge MA; no remote work; travel as needed.
